FUOYE Pre-degree Admission, 2018/2019 Announced

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Pre-Degree Programme for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

 ELIGIBILITY
Eligible Candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE/NECO at a maximum of two sittings including English Language (for ALL Courses), Mathematics (for Science-based, Management Science based and Social Science-based Courses) and Literature-in-English (Arts). However, students with deficiencies may apply, provided the deficiencies would have been rectified before the completion of the Pre-Degree Session.
 DURATION

The programme normally runs for two (2) contact periods both within nine (9) calendar months.
REGISTRATION FEE
Each candidate will be required to pay Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only, excluding bank charges as Registration fee.

UCH Ibadan School Of Nursing Admission, 2018/2019 Announced

Admission Information

The course is for a period of three years, after which candidates will be presented for both the School and Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Final Examination to qualify as Registered Nurses (RN).


Admission Requirements:

Only interested candidates who should not be younger than 17 ½ years of age and possess the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC) or NECO with Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at not more than two sittings may apply.

Method of Application:

  1. Candidates should request for Application Forms with effect from Wednesday 6th June, 2018 at the School of Nursing, UCH, Ibadan with:
    (i) The Receipt for the payment of a non-refundable Application Form fee of Seven thousand and Five hundred Naira (#7,500.00) only payable to UCH School of Nursing, University College Hospital, Ibadan, TSA Account. The Teller should be converted to the Hospital’s Receipt at the UCH Accounts Department before approaching the School of Nursing for the Form.
    (ii) Payment of Two Hundred Naira (#200.00) only into the Oyo State Nursing & Midwifery Committee Account, First Bank Ltd 2019704292.
    (iii) Four (4) Recent passport photographs which should be Colored but on white background only.
  2. Applicant’s photograph with head covers (Hijab, Scarf, Beret etc) must show their full faces with both ears.
  3. Completed Application Forms must be submitted by hand to the Principal of the School not later than Wednesday 11th July, 2018.
  4. Submission of Application Forms start on Monday 18th June, 2018 and close on Wednesday 11th July, 2018.
  5. Please Note: Failure to submit the Application Form on or before Wednesday 11th July, 2018 automatically disqualifies the candidate from sitting for the Entrance Examination.

Entrance Exam Date:

The General Nursing Entrance Examination Committee of the Hospital will conduct the Entrance Examination on 14th July, 2018. Only candidates who attained acceptable standard in the Examination will be considered for admission after passing the Interview exercise that would follow the Examination.

UNIBEN 2018/2019 Admission Into Maritime Studies Diploma Programme, Announced

The University of Benin, center for Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) runs a two-year Full-Time Diploma in the following Courses:


(i) Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology
(ii) Marine Drilling and Production Technology
(iii) Industrial Welding and Fabrication Technology
(iv) Computing and Computer Technology.
The Courses have adequate professional and academic content to enhance manpower development, staff proficiency, capacity building; and they are designed to strengthen performance in the Ports Development/Operations, Ship Building Technology, Shipping , Offshore Oil and Gas, ICT sectors of the

Maritime Academy Oron, 2018/2019 HND Admission Announced

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various Higher National Diploma programmes on offer in Maritime Academy of Nigeria for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

iii]      Have completed a minimum of one year Post-National Diploma (ND) Industrial Training or evidence of one year Cognate Work Experience in a relevant organization.
iv]      Candidates with PASS at National Diploma from Maritime Academy of Nigeria and other accredited Institutions must have completed a minimum of two years Post-National Diploma (ND) Industrial Training or acquired a two year cognate Work Experience in a relevant organisation.
b. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) IN MARITIME TRANSPORT & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
i]        Applicants must possess the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent with at least FIVE CREDIT passes in subjects which must include Mathematics, English Language, Economics, and any other two of Commerce, Government, Principle of Account and Business Management,  obtained at NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS.
ii]       Possess a National Diploma in Maritime Transport and Business Studies with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of not less than 2.50 (Lower Credit) from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria or accredited Institutions listed with Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
iii]      Have completed a minimum of one year Post-ND Industrial Training or evidence of one year Cognate Work Experience in a relevant organization.

ABUTH Nursing/Health Programmes Admission Form, 2018/2019 Now Available

Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Schools/Training Programmes in ABU Teaching Hospital Zaria for 2018/2019 academic session.

School Of Nursing:
This School offers a three (3) year basic general nursing training to suitable candidates of not less than 171/2 years and not more than 26 years of age.
Those wishing to apply must have the following: The acceptable combination of results shall be as follows:
i. WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO
ii. WAEC/NECO
a) Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology at not more than two sittings.
Entrance Examination and Interview Candidates who satisfy the basic entry requirements shall be required to sit for an entrance examination and selection interview thereafter.
Only candidates short-listed will appear for the selection interview.
The Selection process will include essay writing followed by oral interview.
Candidates selected for admission shall be required to pass a medical examination for fitness.
NOTE: Only candidates who satisfied 0-level requirement will be invited for entrance examination.
Accommodation; This course is residential. Successful candidates MUST live in the Nurses' hostel; payment of accommodation fee shall be made in installments.
School Of Post Basic Nursing Programmes:
The school runs Post Basic Programmes names:- Midwifery, Ophthalmic and Paediatrics and Anaesthesia Those who wish to apply for any of the programme must have the following:-
a) Midwifery Course :- is eighteen (18) months duration and eligible candidates must have five credit passes in S SCE, WASC/NECO or GCE which should include among others English Language, Mathematics and three (3) Science Subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) at not more than two sittings. Candidates must also be registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
b) Ophthalmic Nursing Course: Duration: One year Programme and candidates wishing to enroll must be qualified registered nurses (RN) with the Nursing and midwifery Council of Nigeria with at least one year post qualification experience.
Additional Post Basic Diploma/Certificate/other relevant course could be an advantage. In addition to the above, eligible candidates must have five credit passes in SSCE/WAS C/NECO or GCE which should include among others, English language, mathematics, Physics, chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings.
c) Paediatric Nursing Course: 
Duration: One (1) year programme and candidates wishing to apply must be registered Nurses (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must have at least one year Post Qualification/Registration experience.
Additional Post Basic Diploma/Certificate/other relevant courses could be an advantage. In additional to the above, eligible candidates must have five credit passes in SSCE WASC/NECO/or GCE which should include among other, English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings
d) Nurse Anaesthesia Programme Duration: is eighteen (18) months duration and eligible candidates must have five credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO or GCE which should include among other English Language, Mathematics and three (3) Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two sittings. Applicant must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practicing license and at least one (1) year post qualification experience.
Entrance Examination/Interview 
Eligible candidates will be requested to sit for a written aptitude test to be followed by an oral interview. Additional Post Basic Diploma/Certificate/Other relevant courses could be an added advantage..
For the selection interview, candidates are to come along with the originals of all their certificates, license, evidence of sponsorship, certificates of workshop attended . A letter from their sponsors.
School Of Medical Laboratory Sciences:
Special Fellowship of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria This is a Twenty-four (24) months course leading to the award of FMLSCN. Candidates wishing to apply must have :-
(a) Associate (AMLSCN) of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria BMLS plus a minimum of one (1)year post qualification experience.
(b) NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. (c) Current practicing license of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.
School Of Health Information Management:
ational Diploma Course in Health Information Management Duration: Two (2) years direct course for those with GCE '0' Level or its equivalent and one year for those with Technician Certificate in Health Information Management of the Health Record Officers Registration Board of Nigeria.
Entry Requirements: 
1. Candidates for this programme must have WASC, S SCE or NECO with passes at credit level in five (5) subjects including English, Mathematics, Biology/Physic/ or Chemistry and any subject.
All ND candidates must sit for JAMB and passes cut-off mark
2. For JAMB Candidates they must posses the JAMB cut-off marks. 3. Candidates shall comme with screening registration fee of N2,500.00

Higher National Diploma In Health Information Management:

Entry Requirement 
Candidates for this programme must have obtained National Diploma in Health Information Management and registered with the health Records officers Registration Board of Nigeria and must have undergone an Industrial Training for one year in a reputable Hospital in addition to the basic entry requirement for the ND. Entry Requirements:
This is a two (2) year Course. Applicants wishing to apply must have senior secondary school certificate (SSCE) or its equipment , WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEC) with passes at credit level in Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least a pass in English Language at not more than two sittings.
In addition, credit or ordinary pass in any of the following subjects will be an advantage. Wood work, sheet metal work. Auto Mechanic, Basic electronics, Basic Electricity and Technical Drawing.
Certificate Course This is a one (1)year course. Candidates with the following qualification are eligible for admission.
a) Candidates who have passed WASC/SSCE with passes in Science subjects.
b) Intermediate Secondary Schools with Trade Test Grade [II] certificate and evidence of Secondary Education in the Sciences.
Candidates with evidence of guaranteed sponsorship will be given preference
The course at present is non residential. Successful candidates will be required to arrange for their own accommodation.
Community Health Officers Training Programme:
his course takes a minimum of two (2) years duration, and officers from any of the following categories of health workers that have been working in primary health care area are eligible for admission.
(WASCE, NECO or GCE 0/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include; English Language, Mathematics and Biology/Health Science.
Community Health Extension Workers five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE 0/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics and Biology/Health Science.
Candidates with evidence of guaranteed institutional sponsorship will be given preference, but limited vacancies exist for privately sponsored ones.
Entry Qualification a) Holders of Diploma in Community Health with not less than two (2) years post qualification experience plus, five (5) credit level passes in S SCE b) Applicants must be registered and possess a valid practice license.
c) Two recent passport photograph

UNIBEN JUPEB Admission Form, 2018/2019 Announced

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) JUPEB Admission Form for 2018/2019 Academic Session is out. The University, In collaboration with the JOINT UNIVERSITIES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS BOARD (JUPEB), the University of Benin invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Foundation Programmes for the 2018/2019 Session.

The Programme leads to the award of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Certificate which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission into 200 level of the degrees offered by the University of Benin and other JUPEB – affiliated Universities in Nigeria and universities abroad. The JUPEB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificate (HSC) or IJMB.

Candidates seeking admission into the JUPEB Foundation Programmes must possess minimum of 5 credit passes in at least five
(5) subjects at “O” Level, including English language and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings in the GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
All the combinations shown in the table meet the entry requirements for direct admission into Degree Programmes in the University of Benin and other JUPEB affiliate Universities which include, OAU, UNILAG, UNN, UYO, FUTA, FUNAAB, UNIPORT etc. 
Duration of Programme
The duration of the study is a minimum of one Academic  Session   of TWO SEMESTERS. It is strictly non-residential programme.
Method Of Application 
Interested candidates are to purchase application forms online from the university web site www.uniben.edu with valid VERVE VISA OR MASTERCARD ATM BANK CARD from any commercial bank in Nigeria for the non-refundable application fee of fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) The fee excludes bank charges.
The application form must be correctly filled with all information required before submitting online and thereafter printed out.

  • Click on REGISTER FOR APPLICATION and fill out application after reading instructions on the page
  • Upload a recent coloured passport size photograph (scanned, not more than 3 months old passport) with red background. Webcam photograph is not acceptable.
  • Submit the online application form and print out a copy of the examination schedule slip which should have your user name and password.
  • All candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
